Their country, once the shining example of freedom and democracy, has become a living hell- a world of fear, deceit, and death. How did this condition happen? They ask themselves this question as they struggle to live just one more day. They know the answer to their question, and they now blame only themselves. They supported the rising beast as he insidiously destroyed the other two branches of government on his way to supremacy - and worse. No one opposed his obvious rise of tyranny. They supported this man who promised to equalize the masses and make life better for everyone. Suddenly they were trapped with no way to escape. The trap became even more treacherous and dangerous when the leader imposed a cashless society, deceitfully claiming to fight terrorism. Anyone attempting to use cash was treated as a terrorist. Lives became meaningless, and totally dependent on the government. Big Brother had grown up, and matured.Under this new tyranny, five families struggle to survive in the wilderness, within a world where life has no value except for those preparing the world for themselves. Others are expendable, and are allowed life only when they comply with all rules, where some rules are known only by those in power. The leader rules by fear and surveillance. No one is safe from suspicion anywhere. Satellites watch from the sky, cameras are on every street corner and light pole. And now, new mother drones hide in the sky and send little devil drones on sudden killer missions. They dart from the sky ready to strike anyone who opposes or insults the president turned king. When drones can’t strike, the leader sends in his Others, who show no mercy to anyone. More and more, their victims’ bodies are never recovered, used by their killers for heinous purposes unimaginable in a human society. In this turmoil, Janice tries to stay alive until she finds her two sons who have been removed by these atrocities. They disappear without warning, and there’s no trace of their whereabouts. She can only hope and pray for their safe return, but she fears the worst. Most never return. If a government can conceive it and has the capability to develop it - will they refuse to do it? In the name of fighting terrorism they will not hesitate, especially if led by one who demonstrates little or no respect for the U. S. Constitution. Devil drones are coming. Prepare to duck and hide.
